This General Price List is in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's required format. All funeral homes are required to price funeral services in a similar manner and give to you (for retention) their General Price List upon request.

From the General Price List you can choose the type of funeral

you desire and know the charges.

For the family's welfare every attempt has been made to provide information on purchasing funeral services. We encourage families to select funeral services within their means. Please remember we are here to serve you, your family and friends. Please ask us for any help or questions that you may have during this time or after the service. We appreciate the trust and confidence you have placed with Eeds Funeral Home.

The goods and services listed are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Please note that there may be charges for cemetery fees, minister honorariums, organists, soloists, flowers, newspaper notices or death certificates, etc
 

Basic Services
Funeral director and staff - basic services	$1950
"This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)"
Preparation
Embalming	$550
Other preparation of the body	$250
Reconstructive restoration, if necessary	$150
Refrigeration (after 24 hours)	$150 per day
Hairdressing	$60 to 200 depending on style, etc.
Staff, facilities and equipment
Use of facilities and staff for viewing, 2 hour maximum(M-F :9am-5pm)	$200
Viewing/visitation outside of normal business hours	$50/hr.
Use of equipment and staff for funeral ceremony	$400
Use of equipment and staff for graveside or crematory service	$225
Use of equipment and staff for memorial service	$400
Transportation and Automotive Equipment
Removal of remains to funeral facility, 30 mile radius	$300
Use of hearse and driver, 30-mile radius	$375
Limousine, 30-mile radius (3 hr limit)	$300
Transportation of body to crematory	$200
Utility Vehicle/Floral Vehicle, 30-mile radius	$150

Additional Services

Alternative Selections Direct Cremation available from $2,200 Transfer of remains to funeral home, professional care, services of staff, basic facilities, transfer to crematory, arrangements, reparation of death certifications, social security, veterans administration forms, cremation forms, insurance forms, and other forms as needed. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiber board or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). the containers we provide is a heavy cardboard and wood base construction. Direct Cremation with alternative container, heavy cardboard construction $2,300 Transfer of remains to funeral home, professional care, services of staff, basic facilities, transfer to crematory, arrangements, preparation of death certifications, social security, veterans administration, cremation, insurance, and other forms as needed. Container provided by purchaser, approved by Crematory $2,200   Cremation with memorial service in chapel $2,600 Crematory charge/fee and transport fee to crematory is not included in the services above.   Immediate Burial within Caldwell County starting at $1,430 Transfer of local remains, professional care, minimum services of staff, basic facilities, transfer to local cemetery.
