Alfred Eugene Thompson

Alfred Eugene “Chubby” Thompson, age 71, of Lockhart was called home to rest on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Austin, Texas.

Alfred joined St. Marks United Methodist Church, Lockhart, Tx. Alfred's dearest family and friends knew him as "Chubby" and we will all miss him dearly.

Chubby was born on September 29, 1944 in Lockhart to James Alton and Dorothy (Butler) Thompson. He was the 3rd of 3 children. His siblings were James Howard Thompson and Dorothy Marie Houston.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents James Alton and Dorothy Louise Thompson, brother, James Howard Thompson and niece, LaShawn Swist and great-nephew, Domenick Jerome Torres, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vickie Wilson; 3 sons, James Wilson, Rodney Wilson, and Charles Wilson; sister, Dorothy Marie Houston, and 6 Grandsons, 7 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces and 10 great-nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St Marks United Methodist Church.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Marks United Methodist Church with Rev. Mae Fletcher officiating.
