Anna L. Roose, 77, of Lockhart passed away peacefully in Lockhart on July 7, 2009. Anna was born on February 24, 1932 to Leonard and Martha Valagura Scrivner in Seymour, Texas. She had been an owner and manager of several businesses in her lifetime. Anna was of the Baptist faith. Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Eunice Helen in 1964. She is survived by her three children; Howard Roose and wife Alicia of Lockhart, Donald Roose and wife Marsha of Cedar Creek and Anita Ditmar of Lockhart , four sisters; Betty Hope, Dora Hatley, Anita Hope and Carolyne Reynolds, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A visitation, with family and friends, was held July 9th from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Eeds Funeral Home. Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with Reverend Bill Shockley officiating.
