  Lyndon Hooper
Lyndon Marvin Hooper, 68, passed away peacefully in Prairie Lea, Texas on February 7, 2009 with his family and friends at his side. Marvin was born in Tackerville, Oklahoma on May 30, 1940 to Lyndon Merle and Leo Cleo Brewer Hooper. Lyndon had worked most of his life running heavy equipment for various construction companies. He served in the army during the Vietnam Era. Lyndon was a Baptist and a member of the Prairie Lea Baptist Church. Lyndon is survived by his children; Stephanie Jill Marshall and her husband David, Kemberley Annell Hooper, Kevin Lyn Hooper and his wife Gretchen: sister, Sherry Maxine Pool and brother-in-law John ,grandchildren: Amber Nell Roberts, Kevin Lance Marshall, Clinton Ryan Hooper, nieces and nephews; Rocky Lee Chestnut and wife Carrie, Rodney Max Messenger, Carla J. Messenger, and Robbie Messenger. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., February 9, 2008 at the Prairie Lea Baptist Church in Prairie Lea, Texas with Pastor Joel Densman officiating. Serving as the pallbearers were: Mike Myers, Adam Alcala, John Pool, Bud Sanderfer, David Collier, and Tim Nation. Burial followed at the Fentress Cemetery, Fentress, Texas.
