Morgan Hellums

Randolph Morgan Hellums was born on October 23, 1942. He went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2009, at the age of 66.
Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Marie Pearson Hellums and one brother, Ernest. Morgan is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughters and sons, Christine Fowler and husband Mark of Austin, Travis Hellums and wife Kelley of Odem, Kimberley Scott and husband John of Longview, and Craig Hellums and wife Margie of Fredericksburg. Morgan is also survived by his sisters; Doris Taylor and Kathy Murry of McMahan; brothers James and Sammy of McMahan, Lee of Austin, and John of Comfort; seven grandsons, seven granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Thursday September 24, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas. Services were Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Morgan’s niece and nephew, Stephenie Derrick and Mundy Weeks officiating. Serving as pallbearers were; Gaston Hellums, R.J. Hellums, John Hellums, Michael Murry, Mike Weeks Jr., Mundy Weeks, Heath Elliott, and Shawn Elliott. Interment followed at Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan.
