Obituary

Mrs. Rozelle “Nana” Franks, 90, of Lockhart, died Monday, December 7, 2009 in Lockhart. Mrs. Franks was born December 24, 1918 in Cisco, Texas to Tyson E. and Minnie Ruthurford Hollis. Mrs. Franks was united in marriage to Raymond Lee Franks on September 9, 1935 in Austin, Texas. Mr. Franks preceded her in death on January 11, 2005. Mrs. Franks is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Elbert and Polly Franks of Del Valle, Texas, sister and brother-in-law, Marie Hollis Wagner and Johnny Wagner of Hamilton, Texas, 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Chapel in Lockhart, with Bro. Donald Beard officiating. Graveside Services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas. Serving as pallbearers were, Edward Franks, David Franks, Roy Franks, T.J. Franks, Frank Davis, and Bill Anthony. Honorary pallbearers named were, Johnny Wagner, Bob Jones and Gene Elliott.
