Patrick Kelly McCollum
May 15, 1964 ~ January 8, 2017 (age 52) 52 Years OldPatrick Kelly McCollum, age 52, of Lockhart, Texas passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, January 8, 2017 at his home.
Patrick was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1964, the son of Herrod L. McCollum and the late Evalee Summar McCollum of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He graduated from Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1982. Patrick was led to Austin, Texas in 1992 due to his military service.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara West McCollum; son, Jacob Kelly McCollum of Red Rock, Texas; son, Ethan Taylor McCollum of Lockhart, Texas; a sister, Jeanne McCollum Blankenship (Chris) of Nashville, Tennessee; a brother, Tommy McCollum of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and a nephew, Zachary Blankenship of LaVergne, Tennessee.
Patrick served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and received the Achievement Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, as well as many other ribbons and achievements not mentioned.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 2:00pm, at Rosanky Baptist Church, in Rosanky, Texas, where the family has membership.
