Arthur “Joe” Roland Larivee December 27, 1935 - January 11, 2024 

Joe went to be with our Lord on Thursday January 11, 2024, in the early morning hours at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Joe had an unquestionable love for his family and his faith.  

Arthur “Joe” Roland Larivee was born in Burlington Vermont on December 27, 1935, to Albert Joseph Larivee and Rolande DeLorme Larivee. He joined the United States Airforce at age 18, where he was assigned the duties of a Crash and Rescue Firefighter. In 1958 he was stationed at Bergstrom AFB in Austin Texas where he met the love of his life, Lola Mary Nohra. Joe and Lola married on March 1, 1959.  After an Honorable Discharge from the United States Airforce, Joe went on to work with the US Post Office and retired in 1990 to his Ranch in McMahan Texas. 

Joe leaves behind his loving wife Lola of 65 years. His sons, Joe Larivee Jr., Thomas Larivee, Daughters, Susan Larivee-Vajdak and husband Kenneth and Elizabeth Larivee. Eight Grand Children, Sixteen Great-Grand Children. Brother Robert Larivee, Sisters Joyce Place and Jane Murray. Brother-in-Law Larry Nohra and wife Margie, Sister-in-Law Mrs. Doris Joseph, numerous Nieces and Nephews. 

Joe is proceeded in death by his Father Albert Larivee, Mother Rolande Larivee, his brothers, Armond Larivee, Bernard Larivee, Sister Theresa Larivee, Grandson Matthew Larivee and Great Grandson Tristen Gage. 

A memorial mass will be held on February 10, 2024 at 11am at Saint Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church, 205 W. Pecan Street, Lockhart Texas 78644 with Interment to follow at the Jeffery Cemetery on FM 713 in McMahan Texas.
