Barbara Ruth (Hilburn) Southern. Age 84, of Lockhart. Texas was called to her Eternal Resting Place on Wednesday August 10, 2022.

She was born on April 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Emmett N. Hilburn and Virginia D. (Greatsinger) Hilburn

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Hilburn and Virginia Hilburn; Her brother, Robert Hilburn; Daughter, Debbie Stacklie; Daughter-in-law, Brenda Southern; and Grand Daughter, Anita Rios.

Barbara is also survived by.sister Marion Upton Kendall Hilburn; brother Norman Hilburn; and sister Arlene Sweeney.

Steve Southern

And Fred Southern, Jr

She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Delaina Rios, Andrea Rios, Douglas Rios, Richard Moya Jr., Daniel Moya, Jennifer Klose, Melissa Southern, Kayla Southern, and several Great Grandchildren.

Barbara moved to Lockhart, Texas in 2006.

She loved visits from her family and friends.

We couldn’t resist playing her favorite board game, “Aggravation”.  We would all laugh and, of course, she would WIN.  She was the Queen of “Aggravation”.

She was known for loving, kind heart and her sense of humor

Her presence will be dearly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing her
