Dale McCreight, Jr.

Dale McCreight Jr. was a devoted husband and loving father.  He was born January 21, 1926 in Lawton, Oklahoma.  His family moved to Texas when he was 5 years old and he attended Alamo Heights High School and went on to U.S>Navy during WWII.  He graduated from San Diego Evening High School and after the war he attended San Antonio College.  He went to work for Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base first on the flight lines as an aircraft mechanic, then he transferred into Logistics – Time & Motion Studies.  He retired after 36 years of service.

He was married to Margaret Nancy Walker McCreight (deceased 2007) and they had 4 loving daughtes. Mitzie Wood of Devine, Margaret Crow of Gonzales,, Marcie Detterer of Lockhart, and Melissa Garrison of San Antonio,  Also surviving is thirteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 1 nephew Michael McCreight of Victoria and one great niece.
