Dean Emery Obituary

Dean Christopher 'Chris ' Emery passed away on May 27, 2020 in Lockhart. There will be no funeral at his request. Mr. Emery was born in Heidelberg, West Germany to Frederick and Flora Betts (Emery-Heise) on Feburary 17, 1963. He attended various schools in the Copperas Cove area. He was divorced from Mary Laake. He was a professional chef or as he would say 'just a cook'. He worked for various restaurants and companies. He also worked for former President (former Governor) George W. Bush at the State Capitol. Mr. Emery is survived by his daughter Lara Eve Emery, his mother Flora Emery-Heise, his step-father Warren Heise and two cousins and his Fiance, Angela Andra.. Mr. Emery was proceeded in death by his father, grandparents and three cousins. Mr. Emery had a great love for his fur babies and animals in general. Memorials may be given to the Lockhart Animal Shelter.
