Gloria Corona (Selvera) Reyes

Gloria Corona Selvera Reyes, age 73, of Red Rock, Texas, passed away on February 4th, 2022.  Gloria was born on February 20, 1948, to Leonidas and Francis Selvera in Copeland, Texas.  Gloria met and married Lorenzo Pineda Reyes and they shared over 50 years of their life together on their ranch in Red Rock, Texas until Lorenzo’s passing in January of 2020.  They had two children, Helena and Augustine.

Gloria worked in several career fields to include the medical field and most importantly raised her and Lorenzo’s two beloved children at their home.  Gloria enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, and spending precious time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Helena Schroeder, son Augustine Reyes, her aunt Louisa Alvarado, her aunt Esperanza Chavarria, her uncle Frank Selvera, son-in-law Harry Schroeder, grandchildren Ashley Black, Gabrielle Hall, Zachariah Reyes, Jesse Reyes, Abbigail Schroeder, her step-grandchildren Emily Schroeder and Sierra Schroeder, five great-grandchildren, her two Jack Pine Road Sisters Beki Willis and Nancy Scott, and countless loving family members and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held on February 26, 2022 at Gloria and Lorenzo’s ranch.
