Gregory Paul Wilchek

Gregory Paul Wilchek, 74, passed away on August 5, 2023 at his home in Lockhart, Texas. 

Born January 4, 1949 in Berea, Ohio, he was the son of Casper John Wilchek and Ramona Acevedo Wilchek.

Greg graduated from Berea High School in 1967.  He served in the U.S. Air Force, deployed to Viet Nam.  He was later stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Cay, two steps-sons, Carlon King of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeff King of Lockhart, TX, and 5 grandchildren.

Also surviving are 3 brothers, Thomas of Gambrills, MD, Fred of Silver Springs, MD, and Michael of Lewes, DEL., and their families.  His parents preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held on August 19, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lockhart Church of Christ, 317 S. Blanco, Lock hart, Texas.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the church or charity of your choice.
