Jimmie Douglas Davis

Jimmie Douglas Davis was born April 21st, 1939 in Liberty County Texas.

Jimmie was a jack-of-all-trades who spent most of his life in the oil patch and doing carpenter work. He loved tinkering in his garage creating the most beautiful holidays and weekends. But most of all he loved time spent with family. He was the best 'picker' and Joke teller. "Shake the hand that shook the world I'm Jimmie Davis."

Jimmie passed away in San Marcos Texas on December 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father Tony Davis, mother Cecile Davis Cox, and brother Charlie Davis.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Clara June Davis, his daughter Kellie (Stephen) of Basehor Kansas and their children Kori (Gil), Greyson, and Jaedyn and his son Gary Davis of Luling Texas along with his children Heather

(Derek), Taylor (Carlie), Trace (Hailey), Tate, and Lakyn and his great-grandchildren· Raziel,

Giddeon, Gary, Stevie Ray, Bo Derek, Rowdy, and Brian and Briggs. And sisters Loretta Shepard and Shirley Singletary.

He will be truly loved and missed by everyone that knew him.
