Rose Marie (Hodges) White

My heart skipped a beat when I first met her, I could tell she didn’t notice me.  I knew, with patience, she might see me.

Twelve years was not long to wait for the love and friendship we afforded each other.  For the next twenty eight years of cloudy days and moonlit nights, through the honest respect we gave one another, no matter the weather, we could never count the sunshiny days spent together.

I thank God for allowing me to experience and learn from you.

The Good Lord needs you now, but I don’t have to let you go.  You will always be in my heart

I love you, Rose.

You have to leave your sons, Jason & Kris Showers, Lee Steve, and daughters, Samantha Vaught, and Sara Lindberg.  You will also be missed but never forgotten by the grandkids that you loved and who loved you so much.

Your love and care for people was reflected in the hearts of your many clients that you helped to maintain a decent life no matter their needs, it showed in your eyes every day when you came home from work and the days off that you selflessly gave up because they needed you.

And now I will use the patience that you taught me, and I will love the world with the love that you gave me to give.

I will miss you honey,
