Salena Lee Dobey Hendricks Yates is preceded in death by her Father Gordon Wayne Dobey Sr., her Fraternal Grandparents Luther and Dorthy Dobey, her Maternal Grandparents Melecio Sr. y Elida  Salazar, other Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins on both sides of the family may they all rest in peace, ������✝️���️

Salena is survived by her Mother Estella Salazar Pendergrass (Mommy Star) and Step-father Tod Evan Pendergrass of Austin, Texas

Her Children, (Daughter) Unique Lee Hendricks, (Son) John Hendricks Jr. and his wife Grace Hendricks, (Son) Derrick Michael Hendricks and his wife Fantasy Hendricks and Grand-Children Lilly Hendricks , Addison Hendricks, Allison Hendricks, Maysie Hendricks, Nayeli Hendricks,  Colson Hendricks, and Jackson Hendricks all of Lockhart, Texas.

Salena is also survived by (her Brother) Gordon Wayne Dobey Jr. and his wife Lindsey Nicole Gooding and their daughter Abigail Estella Dobey of Quincy, Illinois and (Sister) Janelle Lee Baughn and her husband Jan Flemming of Austin, Texas, also several Aunts and Uncles, Cousins of Texas, Minnesota, Illinois. 

A special person in Salena's life is Kris Barnett.

Salena was born in Quincy, Illinois on April 20, 1975 and Entered the Holy Kingdom on June 23, 2023 in Austin, Texas.

Salena received her GED from John Wood Community College. She then furthered her education by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Salena Lee was a Beautiful Sweet Soul who always gave everything she had to brighten your day, her kindness was infectious and her spirit could light even the darkest of rooms. If she could help you out she would, she loved her family more then they will ever know, and whole-heartedly adored her grand-children. She worked hard at anything and everything that was put in front of her. She was a process server part-time to help out her family business, she also ventured into nursing. Her hobbies included antiquing, painting, arts and crafts, creating something out of nothing or up-scaling a treasure, she loved to sing karaoke, and her love for animals well that’s beyond words… She had a heart of Gold and she loved endlessly.  She will forever be loved and missed. �����������✝️���️���
