Jo Kathryn (Beuershausen) Schuelke

Jo Kathryn Beuershausen Schuelke, 86, of Lockhart, went to be with our Lord on April 5, 2016 in Kyle, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, April 8th at Eeds Funeral Home in Lockhart from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at First United Methodist Church of Lockhart with the Reverend Don Duvall officiating.   Burial will follow at Lockhart City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eeds Funeral Home. Jo Kathryn (Joey) was born in Lockhart to Amalie and Otto Beuershausen on September 11, 1929.  She married Leroy (Sam) Schuelke on August 28, 1949 in Lockhart.  She graduated from Nixon-Clay Business School in accounting. Joey is preceded in death by her parents, Daughter Annette, husband Sam, and brother Herbert Beuershausen. Joey is survived by her children Sandie and John Lock, Cindy and Phil Wales and Tim and Candi Schuelke; Grandchildren Sam Lock, Sarah Lock, Jeb Lock, Amanda Lance, Angela McClinton, Trey Wales, Justin Schuelke, Drew Schuelke, Lauren Schuelke and thirteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Sam Lock, Jeb Lock, Shawn Cowdin, Trey Wales, Jordan McClinton, Justin Schuelke and Drew Schuelke. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church of Lockhart.
